If you're buying a Switch for Minecraft, you need to think about what you want from it. This is a handheld that's intended to play on-the-go, and the resolution shouldn't really be a consideration - as long as the game is operating at the highest possible output, the output will be the same regardless. The boost from the dock actually adds to the gameplay, as it reduces input lag for longer sessions.
To test the app, we loaded up a Windows PC with Minecraft, loaded up the app on iOS and then launched the game on the Switch. As expected, the app was very quick and easy to use. As with other screen recording apps, you also get a list of the app's features on the main screen, such as Audio/Video quality, recording mode and size. There's also a thumbnail for the currently playing video at the bottom of the screen, as well as a button to start the recording.
In our case, we started the recording, then switched to Mario Kart 8 on the Switch, started racing around a track, and then switched back to Minecraft once we had successfully finished the race. There was no issue, and the audio quality was very good with no drop in quality throughout the game. We managed to record about 18 minutes of gameplay, which isn't bad for the price. The app also lets you save the video in a number of formats, including MP4, MOV, and WEBM. If you want to upload it to YouTube, the app can also save it as an MP4 or MP3 file.
I am running a PC with Windows 7 and Adobe Photoshop CS6. I am wondering how to end the trial period and convert to a full copy of Photoshop CS6. I tried closing down Photoshop, which produced a message telling me to return the disk. I did that, but the same message returned. How can I end this?
