For most people, partition management tasks are not a routine activity. How often do you need to erase a hard drive, resize partitions or copy your operating system and data from one disk to another? These tasks tend to be done only when you are ready to get rid of a computer, install an additional operating system or upgrade to a new disk, respectively.
The core Partition Manager screen lets you select a disk and then access several tasks (Figure A). The options include the ability to resize, format, delete or wipe the drive, along with several maintenance and naming options. The app lets you convert between newer NTFS and older FAT32 file system formats, newer dynamic and older basic partition disks, newer GPT and older MBR disk partition options, and, when using MBR, between primary and logical partitions.
The system also autofits data from one drive to another (Figure E). This ensures the partition sizes of your destination disk correspond to those found on your source disk. Again, this is a desirable default, especially when you might be moving from a small drive to a larger one. An experienced user might prefer to adjust the layout of the destination disk, but most often such an adjustment will not be needed.
In my own work, I tend to turn to partition management tools when I need to upgrade a drive and when I want to erase data on a system I am about to decommission. Is a partitional management tool something you or your colleagues use often? If so, what tasks do you use it for? Determine the size in 4096 bytes sectors of the APFS container partition (disk0s2). I can do this for you and update my answer. Or, you can read the accepted answer to the question: Tried to fix filesystem type: FFFFFFFF-FFFF-FFFF-FFFF-FFFFFFFFFFFF and probably made it worse.

The partitioning tools built into Windows has evolved slowly over the past 25 years. Windows Vista added a graphical interface for creating and deleting partitions during setup. Since then, this important part of Windows utilities has pretty much stood still since then. The Disk Management Tools available from the desktop within the Microsoft Management Console are just as limited. More powerful options are available from the command line; this is 2016 though, and not everyone feels like playing with cryptic lingo to customize things to their liking.
If your computer has a complicated partition setup, EaseUS can help you manage it. One of the latest trends among OEM PC manufacturers is the alphabet soup of unnecessary factory partitions a system can include. Due to the partition layout configured, some of these partitions might prove difficult to remove; due to being configured as dynamic disks. Unlike a Primary Volume, a Dynamic disk includes the ability to create multiple partitions. The problem is when you want to delete one or more disk partitions; either to merge with another partition or setup a dual boot configuration, this can affect the active primary boot partition. Converting to a basic disk can often result in making the system inoperable. EaseUS Partition Manager Professional takes the guesswork out of such scenarios with a few easy clicks.
I also found EaseUS handy for resizing system reserve partitions. Users attempting to upgrade to Windows 10 might hit this error. The error occurs during the Windows setup because the recovery partition requires more than the limited 100 MB partition used by Windows 7 to store recovery files. I launched EaseUS, created a non-destructive partition to the left of the boot drive, with an additional 300 MBs, then extended the recovery partition to use the extra space. Windows 10 setup continued without a hitch.
It's a good feeling to have a nice big hard disk, but sometimes you don't want to dedicate it all to one operating system or one type of data. That's no problem: a hard disk can be divided up into multiple partitions, each of which behaves like an independent drive.Multiple partitions make it easy to keep your personal data separate from system files, and they can help if you want to install multiple operating systems: for example, let's say you want to try out the Release Candidate of Windows 7 on your computer, while keeping your trusty Windows XP installation available as a fallback. It's a simple matter of carving up your drive into two partitions, one with all your XP files on and another pristine and empty ready for you to install Windows 7. The OS installer helpfully provides a boot menu, so you can choose which partition you want to boot from, and each operating system will see its own partition as "C:", with the other one showing up as "D:".Partition management software has been available for more than a decade, and Easeus Partition Master Professional Edition is a relative newcomer to the field. But if you've used a package like this before, you'll be right at home: the interface is almost identical to those of existing applications such as Paragon Partition Manager and Acronis Disk Director, with a list of operations down the side and existing partitions displayed as both a list and a map in the main pane. It doesn't show quite as much up-front detail as Paragon's offering, but all the key information is here.Creating a partition is as simple as selecting a blank area of hard disk (in either the list or map view) and dragging a slider to select how much space you want your new partition to occupy. If the disk's already full, you can shrink down an existing partition to create some more space: once again, you can simply drag a slider to choose what size you want it to end up, or type in values if you want to be precise.
EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard is proprietary data recovery software that aims to recover deleted files from a partition on a digital storage device such as a hard disk or solid state drive, recover deleted or formatted partitions and corrupted data. Users interact with the software using a wizard-style graphical user interface. The software is available for free but additional features such as recovering from a Windows preinstallation environment requires a paid license. The software is used for data recovery. 2b1af7f3a8
